Lemonade wikipedia
Lemonade is an alternative dance band from San Francisco, California, now residing in Brooklyn, New York. The band's music consists of an eccentric amalgam of electronic, world, and rock music influences, ranging from dubstep to caribbean. The band was formed in 2005 and is made up of vocalist Callan Clendenin, bassist Ben Steidel, and drummer Alex Pasternak. The group gained notoriety after moving to New York and releasing its self-titled debut in 2008, and Pure Moods EP in 2010. Several tracks from each of their releases have also been remixed by well-known artists like Delorean, Gold Panda, and Twin Shadow.

The best part of hearing new Lemonade material is you never know what to expect. Based in Brooklyn, New York—but bred in Northern California—the trio are pretty difficult to pin down musically. Every time we attend a live Lemonade show, we end up feeling an unexpected trance vibe, witnessing a random dubstep breakdown (except played with live instruments) or get launched into a full-on percussive jam session. It’s euphoric, to say the least… kind of like if Echo & The Bunnymen decided to make warm and sunny house music or something.

"Perfect Blue" is the trio’s first new song in a series of singles that will be released this year following their tour with John Talabot. The tune was produced with NYC-based Le Chev, who also collaborated with the dudes on their second full-length album, 2012’s Diver. Listen to the new single from Brooklyn's favorite boy band here and catch them soon at a warehouse, terrace or afterhours near you.
